On May 20, Glodon laid the foundation stones for its South China Headquarters in a ceremony held in Guangzhou, one of the core cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Guangzhou is also the demonstration base of "new urban construction". Glodon, as a digital enabler in the construction industry, is deeply involved in the journey.

Glodon has always been dedicated to practising its digital building strategy. From the Glodon(Xi'an) R&D Building to the new Headquarters, the company is on track to develop pilot digital buildings that are people-centric and function-centred through digitalization, green and industrial construction and operation.

The construction of the new Headquarters will focus on key steps of the digital construction from design to construction. Some technical highlights of the project are:

?????? Based on the independent graphics platform and products to apply BIM throughout the whole process of the project;

?????? Based on the independent underlying data platform to realize the whole process data exchange;

?????? Based on the core management results to achieve the whole process business collaboration;

?????? Based on the IoT network with self-developed hardware and business data collaboration to promote the interaction between reality and virtuality.

With a design concept of openness and flexibility, the Headquarters will become an immersive, green and healthy office building for people to engage and thrive after completion. There will be a shared public living room on the ground floor; Inside the building, corridors and flexible shared spaces facilitate people-to-people exchanges in a pleasant environment.

Chairman of the Board of Glodon Mr. Diao Zhizhong said at the ceremony that the Headquarters will also be the smart hardware research and development center and the industry big data center in the future. Ultimately, it will become a platform for the communication and cooperation on digital building and for the regional business promotion to make more contributions to the construction industry.

Since the early days of its establishment in 1998, Glodon has been dedicated to the Guangdong area. In 2012, it explored the application of BIM technology in the Guangzhou CTF Finance Centre project and pioneered the development of BIM5D products. Today, Glodon has deployed all business lines in Guangdong, and the construction of the Headquarters will become a new milestone in regional development.

With the strong development momentum and industrial advantages of the area, Glodon will join hands with upstream and downstream enterprises in the construction industry in the Greater Bay Area to jointly facilitate the digital transformation of the construction industry.
